Founder
Sima Shah has embarked on this philanthropic journey because it is “Time to Give Back”.
Sima’s mission is to provide food and other essential supplies to low-income individuals, to relieve loneliness and isolation by providing recreational and educational activities to senior citizens, and to improve the mobility and fitness of senior citizens.
Through her work with “Time to Give Back”, Sima hopes to inspire generosity in the community to share and spread kindness and compassion for those in need.
Viren Shukla is working as a Accounts Payable Coordinator at Geranium. Viren likes the variety each day brings, and he finds that there are still many learning opportunities in life, which he greatly values.
A former competitive Badminton player, he now plays occasionally for fun and exercise. Viren loves traveling and also finds relaxation at home listening to music or watching movies.
Viren is a dedicated volunteer at Sanatan Mandir Cultural Centre, a worship place which also provides programs and services to seniors. He has been honored for his 15-year commitment with a Volunteer Service Award from the province of Ontario. Through this non-profit, he was also chosen as their representative to meet former Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2013, a moment of pride for Viren.
